We are recruiting an IT Manager
As a result of Ekeri’s strong growth, the need for a brand-new position has arisen. We are now seeking an IT Manager to ensure the company’s IT systems are secure and cost-effective.
Ekeri’s IT Manager is responsible for the company’s digitalisation and the development of the IT department. As IT Manager, you also lead the department’s staff and create the best possible work conditions for the department. In consultation with the company’s CFO, you will be responsible for the IT department’s strategies and objectives, as well as the skills development of the IT staff.
Your responsibilities will include
- defining clear responsibilities within the IT department
- creating and implementing a functioning IT structure for Ekeri
- ensuring that the resources of the IT department are appropriate and sufficient
- developing a functioning helpdesk in the IT department
- co-operating with the IT functions of the subsidiaries to ensure that common goals are achieved
- coordinating IT projects, ensuring that the IT department achieves its objectives and that projects are implemented according to plan
- ensuring IT security and minimising the risk of IT-related problems
- looking after the well-being of IT staff by organising, for example, weekly meetings and performance appraisals
We are looking for candidates with relevant education, at least 5 years of experience managing and implementing IT projects, and good IT security and risk management knowledge.
In addition, we would like you to have
- experience working with ERP systems
- good leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- a strategic approach to work
- an ability to make informed decisions
- fluency in either Finnish or Swedish and at least basic knowledge of the other language
- good knowledge of English
